Dear Customers,

The following advisory is being sent to inform you of emergency maintenance in the cabinet in which our server is housed in.

Event Date: September 4th 01:00 am until September 4th 4:00am CST (GMT -6), 2019 ( September 4th 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM IST )
Impact: 60 minutes maximum downtime expected, barring unforeseen issues.

The server(s) that will be affected is:
Server - MSSQL 2008
Services effected - MSSQL database service and Hosting panel "dnp.dnsracks.com"

In this process, the "MSSQL database service and Hosting panel "dnp.dnsracks.com" are completely down and inaccessible until the maintenance process going on.

Event: During a routine inspection, an APC PDU powering cabinet was found to be not providing stable power due to a failed control module. The PDU is still providing power to the cabinet, however, to be proactive and ensure stable healthy power supply for the future, we are planning to replace this PDU with a brand new unit.

During this maintenance, we will bring the affected servers offline, remove power, and replace the PDU. Expected potential downtime is 30-60 minutes, though the window is 3 hours to accommodate any unforeseen circumstances. We will then ensure each server comes back online properly after the replacement.

Unfortunately, this is emergency maintenance to ensure power stability for this cabinet now and in the future, and cannot be rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this operation.

Warm Regards,

Team WIPL
