We request you to update the DNS records now for any domains using the 3rd party nameservers.
Dear Customers,
As the current batch of servers are reaching their EOL, we would be upgrading the servers where your reseller account is hosted to heavy-duty servers with Intel Dual Octacore Processors & Superfast SSD Drives. The migration details for the servers are given below: Servers Impacted: Venus.dnsracks.com ( 65.60.4.234 ) Migration Start Date: February 18, 2021, 9:00 PM IST ( 3:30 PM GMT )
ETA for Completion: Migration would be completed in approx 24 - 48 hours
Service Impacted: Venus.dnsracks.com Why the need for Migration?: As a part of our quality assurance policy, we regularly upgrade our infrastructure to meet the Industry standards & to protect the servers from any possible signs of crashes/downtimes. Migration Description: During this time, we will be migrating the old servers to a new & powerful server with the following configuration:
What we expect from you: If you are using our DNS/Name Servers then you don't have to worry about anything. If however you are using your own custom name servers then please follow the instructions given below carefully: 1) You'll have to renumber the IP address of website, FTP and mail DNS records associated with the domain you are running as custom name servers. Old DNS Records are ( Venus server ):
yourdomain.com A 65.60.4.234 ftp.yourdomain.com A 65.60.4.234 mail.yourdomain.com A 65.60.4.234 New DNS Records are: yourdomain.com A 65.60.58.202 ftp.yourdomain.com A 65.60.58.202 mail.yourdomain.com A 65.60.58.202 That's it... beyond this, you don't have to do anything. Communications Plan: Our helpdesk will be fully functional and staffed during the migrations. We will also be posting periodic updates in the announcements section to keep you fully informed of the status of all migrations. Please do not use our emergency contact numbers during the migration, as this will just slow our work.
